Dalai Lama envoy interacts with Chinese students in Taiwan

DHARAMSHALA October 1: The Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Taiwan, Dawa Tsering interacts with Chinese students at the National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan on Thursday.
The Representative was invited to talk on Tibet to the students and professors of the university including 30 students from the mainland China.

Dawa Tsering has addressed the gathering by highlighting on the life of the Dalai Lama, and Tibetan history including the religion and culture of Tibet.

During the talk, the Chinese students asked Dawa lots of questions and the Dalai Lama representative had great time in answering the questions.

Sources said that the talk was organized by Wang Dan, a Chinese professor at the university. He was one of the prominent student leaders in the Tienanmen Square protest in 1989, and Dan holds a PhD degree in history from Harvard University.

Dawa's talk on Tibet is said to be a part of the event-talk titled "prominent individuals affect on China" organized by the Chinse professor at the university.
